Reino Unido debe flexibilizar las exigencias de KYC para superar a Estados Unidos en lo que respecta a Web3, opina grupo de expertos

El Reino Unido tiene la oportunidad de sacar provecho de la marcha de las empresas de Web3 que abandonan Estados Unidos debido a la incertidumbre regulatoria. Pero para lograrlo, el Reino Unido tendrá que seguir su propio camino normativo, suavizando en cierto modo los requisitos para la criptoindustria, según un grupo de expertos.

El 2 de octubre, el influyente grupo de expertos conservador Policy Exchange publicó un informe sobre Web3 que tenía 10 propuestas para el gobierno del Reino Unido, que, según afirma, ayudarían al país a mejorar la regulación de Web3.

Una de las propuestas del informe es limitar las responsabilidades de los holders de tokens en una organización autónoma descentralizada (DAO). El informe cita como ejemplo negativo una reciente sentencia en EE.UU. que hace responsable a cualquier estadounidense que sea o haya sido holder en una DAO de cualquier infracción de la ley que cometa la DAO.
