Former US President Bill Clinton has warned about a possible negative impact of carelessly- measured state policies on the emerging technology of blockchain. Clinton made these remarks on Monday during this year Ripple’s Swell conference in San Francisco.

The ex-politician was part of the first’s day event schedule and was speaking a lot about his two terms at the White House. Touching the blockchain issue at the end of his appearance, Clinton praised distributed ledger technology’s (DLT) capabilities and called for a more cautious state approach.
