Venture capitalists, angel investors, and individual contributors have backed the first stage of the Neufund security token offering (STO), helping the project raise 2.6 million euro to date. The STO is scheduled to run until December 16.
One of the first fully legalized European STOs, the Neufund token sale was open to larger investors, with the minimum contribution set at 100,000 euro. The backers include Udo Schloemer (FactoryBerlin founder and CEO), Chris Zippel (award-winning music producer and composer), and Dario Suter (movie producer and DCM founder and managing director). The sale also drew support from its existing investors, including Freigeist Capital and Atlantic Labs.
