When it comes to Bitcoin’s price, we’ve heard it said that the sky's the limit.

Well, one enthusiast says he looked to astrology, which caused him to become interested in the crypto.

This enthusiast is Ricky Williams a former pro running back for the NFL. He recently told CNBC that he’s always looked to astrology to get insight, reading the charts and the like. Through those studies, he was pointed to Bitcoin.

Let’s discuss his unorthodox approach.

When Uranus, Taurus, Pluto and Bitcoin cross paths

Williams’ NFL career includes playing with the New Orleans Saints and the Miami Dolphins.

After leaving the league, Williams picked up studying holistic medicine as well as astrology. From all the signs he learned from studying the stars, moon, and planets, things lined up to point him to Bitcoin being a solid investment.

He’s quoted as saying:

"The insight that got me interested in Bitcoin was the planet Uranus is about to enter into Taurus."

He noted that Uranus is about revolution and about a change in the way we do things. He added that it’s about innovation.

As far as Taurus is concerned, it’s about resources and finances.

CNBC reports:

What's more, Pluto is passing through the astrological sign Capricorn which, Williams explains, "is about our structures, like banks for instance."

Astrological direction

Williams is not alone in his thoughts about the use of astrology when it comes to Bitcoin.

Astrologist Ekaterina Vasyanova reportedly has said that she can tell the future of Bitcoin based on her analysis of thousands of natal charts and body graphs.

This all may sound ridiculous to some.

Williams has this to say to them:

“I think as people are starting to become disillusioned with our institutions, that things like Blockchain and cryptocurrency, it's the perfect time for them to catch fire and really change the way we do things. So, you know, I had to get a little piece of that action.”
