The manufacturer of the Trezor hardware cryptocurrency wallets warned customers about imitation Trezor One devices circulating on the market. The company does not know who produces and distributes the fake wallets but admits that they look very much like the original ones.
The company states that they have grown accustomed to clones and copy-cats, but this case stands apart. The usual imitations are produced by legitimate companies and marketed under different names, so that customers can differentiate them from the original. However, the recently discovered fake device is manufactured by an anonymous vendor and replicates the Trezor One in detail.
