The CoinQuora team had a wonderful time attending the World Blockchain Summit that was held in JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai. This event enables the team to meet and greet people in the blockchain space. I had a great time talking with Mr. Arto Bendiken, CTO at Aurora labs.

Q. Can you give us a little introduction about yourself and the project you’re working on right now?

Sure. I am Arto Bendiken CTO at Aurora labs. We are building an Ethereum sidechain to help scale Ethereum.

Q. What are your goals here in the World Blockchain Summit?

Here, we just wanted to be present. As I’m moving to Dubai, my colleague, Joshua, is moving to Dubai. And we felt it is important to be part of the conference season already from the first year here.

Q. Do Aurora labs have any major plans in the future that you can share?

So for investors, we have just launched our token yesterday and that will be eventually available to buy on the market. So that is the AURORA token. And for consumers, we are helping to transact faster and cheaper on Ethereum. Hopefully seamlessly, and that would be something that in time may be helpful for the average consumer.

Q. How can we reach you? How can we contact you?

Yes, they can find us on Twitter (NYSE:TWTR) and of course, they can find us on Telegram, Facebook (NASDAQ:FB), LinkedIn, and like our website is our aurora.dev.

Q. So any last thoughts?

It’s been a blast. This is a very very good summit. Very good conference. It’s been really good. I will definitely join next year.
