Elon Musk ha chiesto una "revisione completa" della Securities and Exchange Commission degli Stati Uniti poche ore dopo la denuncia del regolatore che sostiene che Musk non abbia testimoniato nell'ambito dell'indagine relativa all'acquisto, da 44 miliardi di dollari, di Twitter (ora X) lo scorso Ottobre.
La SEC sta indagando per stabilire se l'acquisto di Musk abbia fatto scattare le leggi sulle security, e il 5 Ottobre ha presentato un'istanza presso la Corte Distrettuale della California per costringere il miliardario a rispettare un precedente mandato di comparizione emesso dalla SEC.
Lo stesso giorno, in un post su X, Musk ha suggerito che dovrebbero essere la SEC, insieme al Dipartimento di Giustizia degli Stati Uniti, a essere indagati.
