The popular crypto trader Kaleo (@CryptoKaleo) shared in a tweet yesterday that there may be a chance that Dogecoin (DOGE) will receive a price pump tomorrow. In the tweet, Kaleo shared that there’s a chance that the coin’s price will receive a meme pump tomorrow given that tomorrow will be 20 April, also referred to as 4/20 by the DOGE community.

DOGE’s price has historically received a pump on the 20th of April in previous years. Many in the crypto space believe that the DogeFather himself, Elon Musk, has been behind these price pumps and performed these pumps on 4/20 as a satiric reference to one of his appearances on The Joe Rogan Experience.
In his one appearance on the podcast, Musk had caused an investor frenzy after he was seen smoking weed on the popular show. This, together with Musk’s influential role within the DOGE community, is why Kaleo and many others in the crypto community believe that DOGE’s price will receive a pump tomorrow.
At press time, the price of DOGE stands at $0.09299 according to CoinMarketCap. The crypto market tracking website also shows that the popular meme coin posted a 24-hour gain of around 0.03%. This 24-hour gain has added to the altcoin’s positive weekly performance, which currently stands at +13.59% as a result.
DOGE was also able to print a 1.30% gain on Ethereum (ETH) over the last 24 hours. However, it was unable to do the same with the market leader Bitcoin (BTC), and is currently down 1.25% against BTC. DOGE’s price is also trading near its 24-hour low of $0.09195, with its daily high standing at $0.09449 at press time.
