Cred, a blockchain-based company that provides cryptocurrency-backed lending, announced on Tuesday the appointment of three new executives with strong credentials in the fintech industry. Maxim Rohkline has been named chief product officer, James Alexander will serve as chief capital officer, and Richard Oh has been appointed general manager of the Asia unit.
Oh previously led PayPal operations in the Asia-Pacific region, overseeing the payment systems and dealing with banks and processors. Rohkline comes from business platform Tradeshift, where he led the fintech unit. Alexander has worked for Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS), Royal Bank of Canada, and Nomura and is a co-founder of Swiss merchant bank Alternative Capital Associates.
