Ledger, a Paris-based developer of crypto wallets, has hired Benjamin Soong to head its new Hong Kong office. Soong, a former high-ranking manager at S&P’s intelligence division, will oversee a strategic plan for expansion in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, Ledger said in a press release on Wednesday.
The new executive will also oversee the establishment of Ledger’s new offices in Tokyo, Seoul, and Singapore. His role will be “vital” as Ledger pushes for expansion in the region, company president Pascal Gauthier said, going on to add:
