Calvin Ayre, founder of Coingeek and proponent of Bitcoin SV (BSV), has finally outlined the vision for the new network - to compete for the status of the de facto Bitcoin. However, it is unknown whether he would actually fight to displace the BTC ticker, or use the statement as a message to the community.

Bitcoin SV has quite a different set of features compared to Bitcoin. The chief aim would be to propagate large blocks - a feat that may require a certain centralization of miners and node operators. Bitcoin SV has seen up to 512 nodes, but with four chief miners controlling 75% of the hashrate.
But the strangest statement from Ayre is that Bitcoin SV would be friendly to governments and enterprises:
