Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras announced a launch of their official fan token $ VERDAO in partnership with Chiliz blockchain provider. The token was created to offer Palmeiras’ fans an opportunity to engage with the football club.
$ VERDAO can be purchased on socios.com – an app for sport and crypto fans that offers rewards, gaming, and other perks.
Palmeiras, based in São Paulo, is one of the most popular football clubs in South America. The team owns the most trophies and is most successful in Brazil with over 18 million supporters.
Palmeira’s token holders will be able to earn rewards, obtain official merchandise designs, NFTs, and more. $ VERDAO will also allow fans to collect historical moments from the football team.
“This is a potentially wide and powerful partnership that will help us grow our fan engagement in Brazil and around the world,” Palmeira’s President Maurice Galiotte shared.
“We are convinced that Fan Tokens will improve the digital connection with our fans.” The launch date and price of $ VERDAO will be made public soon. The Fan Poll on Socios app will be launched after the token’s release.
