Bottos, a decentralised infrastructure aimed at artificial intelligence (AI), will reveal a partnership with a major cryptocurrency in May, before they hold a mainnet launch event early June. They are also expecting to get on at least two more exchanges in May which will be announced in their official channels.
Their new whitepaper was released last week along with a redesigned website. The new non-technical whitepaper focuses on the potential applications of Bottos in the AI industry.
CEO Xin Song will attend the AI Congress in Las Vegas and the next Blockchain Expo in Amsterdam as Bottos expand their marketing efforts before they hold a mainnet launch event in either Korea or Japan.
Xin Song said: "There are three factors in AI. The first one is computing power. The second are the algorithms, they are key for AI. The third is data. We have been developing AI models over the past 60 years but you don't see much AI in our lives right now. There is not enough data to train the models.
You have your data generated every day. You don't have any benefit from the data you generate. On the Bottos platform you can contribute data to AI's development and collect your reward. Whenever your data is used, for whatever purpose, it is registered in the blockchain. This is extremely important for data privacy protection."
Bottos is a decentralised data sharing platform which aims to create a marketplace for AI data. Their aim is to attract small and medium-sized AI business to use their platform to develop their AI projects. Their main competitor is Singularity Network and they share some overlap with Deep Brain Chain.
The new whitepaper says:
"Data is the new form of oil. The Bottos platform gathers numerous companies focusing on big data, artificial intelligence, intelligent hardware, robots, Internet of Things, etc. All of these companies will be DApps on the Bottos’ platform.
In the Bottos ecosystem, users’ data can be stored on decentralized blockchain nodes and analyzed without accessing the original data through distributed smart storage, which can not only protect the data privacy, but also make it safely shared with scientific research institutes, and doctors worldwide."
