International blockchain venture studio Blocktech has partnered with the French University of Armenia (UFAR) to launch the first academic Blockchain Laboratory in the country. The partnership cements the New York-based blockchain technologies firm’s footprint in Armenia.
In a statement, the company said the laboratory would introduce interdisciplinary research into the economic implications of distributed ledger technology (DLT) in cooperation with UFAR’s departments of Finance and Law, including the newly established Department of Informatics and Applied Mathematics.
