Hu-manity.co, a blockchain-oriented startup that leverages the technology for human rights and corollary sovereign laws, announced on Thursday that it would apply IBM’s Blockchain Platform for its global consent ledger, which would allow users to claim property rights to their personal data. The company will enable clients to control and handle the consent, authorization and commercial use of their private data through a permissioned version of the blockchain-based data marketplace.
