Popular and regulated cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex just listed EPTT, or Evident Proof Transaction Token, the native to the Evident Proof platform which provides data proof solutions. The UK-based data integrity, security, compliance, and consulting firm helps users with risk mitigation and data standards that prove compliance.

Its world-class platform leverages blockchain technology to store business data in a secure manner with the added value of providing irrefutable evidence for important information, transactions, and workflows. This is an important addressable market since the Allied Market Research report recently concluded that the data security marketplace will reach over $54 billion by 2027.

Evident Proof is focused on meeting this need with a decentralized, token-based service built on the Ethereum blockchain. Its EPTT utility token is issued when a client stores any sensitive business data and is then used to pay for a programmatic generation of proof-seal certificates stored in chronological order. Since 2018, this has delivered what the team calls Immutable Data Proof as a Service.

The platform lets users count on evidence that can be used in civil and criminal courts to prove compliance. The solution can also be a boon to users dealing with issues like counterfeiting by enabling a secure way to prove product origin, provenance, and due diligence. Due to these important use cases, UK Fund Manager Rupert Walsh considers that the EPTT utility token could be a top 100 cryptocurrency in the future.

The Gibraltar-based firm has co-developed the platform with Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) UK. It is led by a team of former executives from the global tech giant as well as a former head of trading for Deutsche Bank (DE:DBKGn). Together, they’ve come up with solutions that are easy to install and require little to no technical skills, yet enable any enterprise to store critical data as encrypted hashes on the blockchain. CEO and former Microsoft CTO Adrian Clark has been vocal about Microsoft’s support of the team’s work in using blockchain as a trust environment.

After the listing, the project’s EPTT utility token became available to traders, clients, and potential beneficiaries of Evident Proof’s solutions around the world and around the clock. To learn more about the project, contact the team.
