South Korean cryptocurrency market Bithumb has signed an agreement with Florida-based crowdfunding portal seriesOne, Yonhap News Agency reported on Thursday. The main purpose of the deal is the creation of a US security token exchange, unnamed sources close to the initiative told the South Korean agency.
According to the agreement, Bithumb will invest and provide technical support for the new token security market. SeriesOne also wants Bithumb to operate the trading venue, which should start operations in the first half of next year, according to the sources.
The deal with seriesOne came several weeks after two major development for Bithumb: first, Singapore based investment group BK Global Consortium
