Bitfinex, the exchange run by the iFinex company, does not need to reveal documents of its financing agreements with Tether, Inc., per a recent court decision. The ongoing legal case between iFinex, Tether, Inc. and the New York Attorney General (NYAG) has led to calls to grant a stay on the proceedings. The NYAG has attempted to reach as many documents as possible on the activity of Bitfinex, to prove its case of breaking New York law for cryptocurrency trading.
