Canadian judge Nancy Orr has ruled that a woman who fell victim to a phone scam involving a Bitcoin (BTC) ATM was responsible for losing her money, not the ATM operator, local media reported on Friday. According to Orr, Chief Provincial Court Judge of Prince Edward Island, Instacoin, the owner of the ATM, was not at fault as it only provided a financial service and police should return the seized fiat money to the company.
