The leading cryptocurrency exchange platform Binance partnered with MDI ventures to expand the blockchain industry in Indonesia; this consortium will help to develop crypto trading in Indonesia.
MDI Ventures is a venture capital firm supported by Telkom Indonesia. As written in the press release, Donald Wihardja, the CEO of MDI, said that crypto and blockchain are the financial systems of the future. He also added that the partnership with Binance will advance Indonesia’s digital infrastructure.
"Our ambition at Binance is to grow the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem globally, and this initiative in Indonesia is a significant step in that direction," Changpeng Zhao, the founder and CEO of Binance said in the press release.
“With fast technology adoption and strong economic potential, Indonesia could become one of the leading centers of the blockchain and crypto ecosystem in Southeast Asia. We are thrilled to name MDI as our latest partner in the region. With their depth of experience in the market, we are confident that we will deliver leading products for users locally.” Both Binance and MDI Ventures have developed the largest digital and financial environment in Indonesia with over 170 million global consumers.
