Fintech company BANKEX announced that it had officially registered in Malta. The company said that it had given notice to the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) about the development of products and services related to token exchange, custody, and escrow. The current registration allows BANKEX to apply for a range of licenses based on the Virtual Financial Assets Act (VFAA), which came into force on November 1. The fintech firm was looking for a jurisdiction where it could offers its security token offering (STO) solutions to enterprises in a legal manner.
