Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Utilities and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 1.62%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 11.71% or 0.398 points to trade at 3.798 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) added 8.77% or 1.67 points to end at 20.72 and Metso Oyj (HE:MEO1V) was up 5.33% or 0.97 points to 19.17 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which fell 1.59% or 0.40 points to trade at 24.69 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 0.89% or 0.26 points to end at 28.99 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was down 0.59% or 0.19 points to 32.21.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 120 to 62 and 2 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for April delivery was up 5.32% or 1.67 to $32.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 5.27% or 1.60 to hit $31.94 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 1.12% or 12.40 to trade at $1117.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.11% to 1.0838, while EUR/GBP fell 0.82% to 0.7552.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.13% at 99.22.
