Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH), which rose 4.22% or 15.1 points to trade at 373.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) added 3.08% or 8.7 points to end at 290.9 and Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) was up 3.00% or 10.1 points to 346.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which fell 0.12% or 0.04 points to trade at 34.37 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) added 0.08% or 0.3 points to end at 369.1 and ISS A/S (COP:ISS) was up 0.14% or 0.30 points to 221.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 97 to 51 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in TDC A/S (COP:TDC) fell to 5-year lows; down 0.12% or 0.04 to 34.37.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.20% or 0.09 to $45.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.55% or 0.27 to hit $48.49 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.10% or 12.40 to trade at $1114.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.67% to 6.6769, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4614.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.40% at 96.44.
