Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 2.78% or 5.0 points to trade at 187.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 1.99% or 10.8 points to end at 552.4 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 1.56% or 9.0 points to 587.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS), which fell 1.15% or 3.4 points to trade at 292.1 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) declined 0.92% or 2.2 points to end at 238.1 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was down 0.59% or 1.3 points to 218.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 54 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.74% or 1.02 to $57.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.91% or 1.24 to hit $63.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 6.55 to trade at $1538.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 6.7835, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4653.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 98.047.
