Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for January delivery traded at USD86.51 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.72%.
It earlier traded at a session high USD86.53 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD85.22 and resistance at USD87.68.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.07% to trade at USD79.94.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for February delivery rose 0.16% to trade at USD106.86 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts standing at USD20.35 a barrel.
