NEW YORK, Aug 4 (Reuters) - Brent and U.S. crude futures initially held losses, then trading turned choppy after a report showed jobless claims in the United States fell last week, but only from a revised higher level in the previous period.
Jobless claims fell to 400,000 last week from 401,000 in the prior week which was revised upward from the initial estimate of 398,000.
