Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Media & Publishing and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130), which rose 5.59% or 2.00 points to trade at 37.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Taleem REIT Fund (SE:4333) added 3.13% or 0.40 points to end at 13.16 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) was up 3.10% or 0.52 points to 17.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Savola Group (SE:2050), which fell 6.17% or 2.90 points to trade at 44.10 at the close. Al Hammadi Co (SE:4007) declined 3.34% or 1.35 points to end at 39.10 and Almarai Company (SE:2280) was down 2.61% or 2.30 points to 85.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 86 to 74 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.02% or 0.48 to $46.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.67% or 0.33 to hit $49.28 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.75 to trade at $1218.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.19% to 4.2469, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 96.17.
