Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 4.78%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 9.32% or 21.5 points to trade at 252.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 6.50% or 17.5 points to end at 286.9 and Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) was up 6.46% or 19.8 points to 326.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 3.55% or 290 points to trade at 7875 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 3.45% or 275 points to end at 7690 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 0.98% or 2.1 points to 217.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 128 to 21 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.57% or 0.16 to $28.10 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 3.51% or 1.06 to hit $31.39 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.47% or 5.60 to trade at $1193.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.53% to 6.6429, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4641.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.25% at 96.28.
