Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb), which rose 1.69% or 7.9 points to trade at 475.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) added 0.85% or 1.1 points to end at 131.1 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) was up 0.31% or 0.25 points to 79.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which fell 7.68% or 3.12 points to trade at 37.48 at the close. GN Store Nord (COP:GN) declined 1.71% or 2.0 points to end at 115.1 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) was down 1.39% or 150 points to 10630.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 47 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in TDC A/S (COP:TDC) fell to 52-week lows; falling 7.68% or 3.12 to 37.48. Shares in GN Store Nord (COP:GN) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.71% or 2.0 to 115.1.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.53% or 1.16 to $44.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.69% or 0.82 to hit $48.06 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.59% or 6.60 to trade at $1102.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.46% to 6.5843, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4604.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.31% at 95.25.
