Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.20%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 1.82% or 10.6 points to trade at 592.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 0.97% or 1.9 points to end at 198.2 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 0.40% or 1.1 points to 279.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS), which fell 4.43% or 13.2 points to trade at 285.0 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 3.16% or 5.35 points to end at 164.15 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 2.26% or 6.5 points to 281.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 44 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.26% or 0.68 to $53.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.81% or 0.48 to hit $58.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.25% or 18.45 to trade at $1491.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.33% to 6.8266, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4652.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 98.792.
