Investing.com - Japanese retail sales rose unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Sunday.
In a report, the Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry said that retail sales rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 0.10%, from -2.10% in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from -2.00%.
Analysts had expected retail sales to fall at annual rate of -1.50% last month.
