This stock has dropped big time within the last 5 years. Any input?
Does QYLD pay dividends? Investing still says that yield is about 12% but a few last months payments are $0.00.
Oct 31 was last dividend pmt at 0.1797 per share. prior dividend pmt was Aug 1 at 0.1667 per share. prior dividend pmt was May 2 at 0.1730 per share
I have received a one percent return every month for the past year
Are dividend payments monthly, end of each month?
when can I buy it so I can get the divident ? please help
You should buy before the ex-date
the ex-date is always about 10 days before the end of the month .

Yep. Been getting mine too. Hopefully the price can get to 20.50 so I can get out
me too, we might have to wait till sometime around Q1 2023
It's still paying . .167 per share last month. So, $1670 per 10,000 shares per month. At this rate, you will make $167,000 in 100 months, not including reinvestment.
Does anyone know the way to request an exemption for the dividend withholding tax for QYLD (which is 30% for non-US citizens / international investors)?
thanks brother

there is no way to have an exemption on WHT, only those funds that allow for dividends to be reinvested automatically are tax exempt. This is not the case of QYLD
QYLD allows for dividend reinvestment

there's no way whatsoever
it still pays a good DIV.. EVEN with a price drop.buy the Dips like the DIVS
i have a question if the market goes down like now will this etf still pay out decent dividend?
yes they will pay
Their payout is not really a dividend its based on selling Call Option premium. Since we are seeing high volatility the prices for option premium is elevated. Meaning higher payouts should be likely.

Why did QYLD pay so much DEC30 DIV?
that was a long term capital gain
Hi I am new to America stock market, can anyone recommend some forums or chat rooms where I can learn more about American stock?
Reddit
why is that strong sell recomandation ?
it is not a recommendation, just showing what is happening according to different averages, indicators and patterns throughout a certain timeframe . the recommendation is for you to decide yourself :)

why did i get told this paid a dividend when it doesnt?
It does, its just that the dividend is not a steady, known payout, it varies from month to month depending on the premium received from selling options.
it does monthly
It does, and a nice one too.
GLOBAL X is the next ARK.. .this ETF will be proof
ARKK is an aggressive ETF investing in speculative plays and high growth "stories". QYLD is a Nasdaq indexed ETF which generates monthly income by selling options against a long position. Completely different styles.

Not too long ago I read about ETFs which take the underlying strategy to another level in that they invest directly in the index's individual stocks and write covered calls on the stocks. Intuitively this makes sense as the weighted average volatility of the individual stocks should be higher than the index. Has anyone here come across such ETFs and looked at their risk/return payoffs?
I've heard similar things. I haven't come across any, it's been a bit of a rabbit hole search for me to be truthful. If you find anything I'd love for you to respond here!

Pattern of selling into strength continues for N100.
Pattern of selling into strength continues in October.
It's a pinnacle of strength when growth companies become institutions that can withstand periods of economic turmoil. As events continue to unfold, N100 will adjust accordingly and QYLD will likely take a hit although intrinsic value remains the same.
