To make money: be first, be smarter or cheat (from Margin Call movie). I suppose the first big shorter in cocoa will make money, the rest will sell in panic - like in April last year. We sit for second week on the same levels - and I bet someone is repositioning.
have you taken into account that cocoa producers may have stockpiled production in order to sell later for a higher price? Check out Cocoa Farmers Association Of Africa (CFAOA) and you will find out XDDD. They are just hiding theirs bags lol

price and economics are different things - in same time price of virtual rock goes up, that rock still got no new value ;) if price and economics are having deep gap, that is where you can earn (I talk only about economics, i dont care if other economists are wrong, i take money from them later on)

After Nigeria published cocoa production going up 87% in December I am pushed to lift up my global cocoa production expectation. Now I expect that there will be only 20k deficit this season and 260k oversupply year after. No more problems in cocoa market exist. Production issues are in the past. Only matter of time for price to go to 1k-3k level.
Monthly cocoa production in Nigeria 87% up in December or 46'676. Nigeria might be on the way to deliver biggest cocoa production in history.

as we talk how did i know....yesterday was the key...bears were in full control to take it below the 20 day....they failed 3x. Momentum switched heavily to the bulls. Now we have a magnet at upper band.
