Celsius. 'Over the weekend, the ECMWF & GFS have trended significantly milder and GWDDs are now forecast to be well below-avg for Jan 28-Feb 6. As a result, my projected storage withdrawal for Feb 1-7 has dropped by nearly 40 BCF. Alas, I expect a solid gap down in #natgas prices tonight.'

Well, ECMWF E. lost 3 HDDs and is at 23 HDDs lower than average. Compared to Friday, it has lost 33.5 HDDs. The weather says gap down.
Liberal HDDs I think 3.1 is next major support after 3.3. If it gaps down to 3.1 I'd go long

Inventories are ONLY 1.9% below the corresponding period of the previous year, but remain 0.7% above the ongoing five-year average. 2024 January 25 inventory is -326B and gas price is 2.5. Why some people scared of a -200 draw? All the storage will be back in April and May. No heating and air-conditioning need from March. So the March contract will go 2.5 at least.

It's losing HDD's because the higher negative days are dropping from the front end of the run and being replaced by milder (compared to the super bullish ones we had) new days on the back end. That said, I wouldn't be surprised with a negative 3 to 5% open tonight. The way I see it, she's still bullish long term, even as low as $2.8. Expect a full on vampire press getting bought. GL longs!
If day 1 at 30 HDDs leaves the forecast and the new day 14 os at 10 HDDs, I can't say that the forecast lost 20 HDDs because of that.
Liberal HDDs EC consistent too so if GFS flips back to more bearish in 00z tonight, we will get extra dump overnight
I think we get a large dump if the ECMWF E. really ends up losing around 30 HDDs since Friday regardless of what the GFS E. does...

GFS E 12z gained 11 HDDs compared to 00z and is on par with ECMWF. Bulls gets saved but the ECMWF lost 5 HDDs... it's super bearish compared to Friday and Friday pump was all about EC model lol
