Feeder Cattle Futures Discussions

Drought in midwest, everyone sold there stock. High hay and feed prices. Futures show support for higher prices.
We'll see. Sale barns have steadily been busier the last 4 months, this despite plentiful hay cuts across northern Kansas and southern Nebraska.
Why up?
Anyone here? lol
It's been about a year since I did a chart on this. We have finally reached our target. https://www.investing.com/commodities/feed-cattle-commentary?comment=30374225#30374239
This is an immensely slow instrument indeed.
Chart is not correct.Investing.com!

gonna be a wild day come monday
Bouncing choppy today wednesday  the 9th of march..
Wild ride today..
Why are these old comments?
Safe place to builld a positions is around the 147~143 region, this likely will rise into 2022 and beyond.
We already see a bullish crossover on the monthly MA's here, so it's bullish for the coming months. BTD recommended. This should rise into the 190/200 dollar resistance zone before a pullback. This is on a monthly time frame assessment.
should I go long on /GF at 158.00?
what would demand for feeder cattle look like this week
That contago is crazy, it is jump from $138 to $151.
Cattle on Feed comes out tomorrow
This drop was expected. Demand will come in strong and inflation will drive prices to new highs, hopefully.
why the drop today?
I mean "why is this slaughtered today?"... heh, get it? 'cause cattle.
not to mention the dairy prices stabilizing will tighten culling and put pressure on the lean beef availability
with the dead loss this past winter you will see an increase in demand and price
with the dead loss this past winter you will see an increase in demand and price
Gap was filled today. Up from here.
I like my steak medium rare. What's your preference? Bull is my favorite
this will climb especially after the tariffs are lifted
love the set up in development here....above 148 is very bullish.
From a fundamentals standpoint, I would definitely be Bullish for any livestock securities. Prices are down from record highs a few years ago, but cattle markets go through a 10 year price cycle. Go long on Agriculture stocks and commodities because they will make a resurgence in price once Agriculture and Technology finally become one
