After the market Thursday, we're still seeing heavy action in Q2 earnings reports. Priceline (NASDAQ:PCLN) , LinkedIn (NYSE:LNKD) , Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ:ATVI) and Kraft Heinz (NASDAQ:KHC) have posted positive results in their fiscal Q2s.
Priceline put up mixed results, beating the Zacks consensus estimate on the bottom line but coming in under expectations of $2.6 billion for the quarter to reach $2.56 billion. Gross bookings of $17.9 billion were higher than expected, while full-year guidance remained in-line. Shares zoomed up nearly 5% on the news, and have come down to around 4% in late trading.
LinkedIn also topped earnings expectations, but the business social network firm easily beat revenue estimates at $933 million (ahead of the $898 million expected). Its Talent, Marketing and Premium Solutions were all higher than analysts had predicted. The company also mentioned it is pleased to be able to create scale when it merges with Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) in the coming quarters. For more info on LNKD's earnings, click here.
Activision Blizzard posted an earnings beat -- representing earnings growth year over year of more than 200% -- and topped sales estimates of $1.5 billion to $1.61 billion (+100% revenue growth year over year). The video game maker brought in record digital revenue of more than $1 billion in the quarter, and shares rose 1% in late trading.
Kraft Heinz beat earnings estimates on in-line revenues for the quarter. The large-cap condiments company also raised its quarterly dividend in its earnings statement, and shares are trading up 4% in the after market. For more news on KHC's earnings, click here.
