As well, this past week, US-based crypto exchange Kraken released a report on law enforcement data requests specific to cryptocurrencies in 2018. And speaking of law enforcement, news broke last week that Anne-Elisabeth Falkevik Hagen, the 68-year-old wife of Tom Hagen, a Norwegian real estate billionaire was kidnapped last week. The ransom demand? 10 million dollars in Monero (XMR), a privacy oriented cryptocurrency. We'll talk about the case, Monero itself, and its use in criminal activities (begins at 12:01).
