Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) has been ignored by Wall Street for years but shares have finally broken out of their narrow trading range and are hitting new 5-year highs after the company reported yet another earnings beat. All the analysts are in bullish agreement on Cisco for 2018 and 2019, as the full year estimates have jumped higher. Earnings are expected to rise 5% in fiscal 2018. Cisco gave shareholders more good news by raising its dividend by 14% and increasing its share buyback by $25 billion.
Home Depot Inc. (NYSE:HD) confirmed that it remains the king of the retailers by posting fantastic fourth quarter same store sales comps of 7.2% in its domestic US stores and 7.5% company-wide. This Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) also raised its dividend by 15.7%. With the employment and housing markets remaining robust, it expects another strong year in 2018.
