The tweet below was issued yesterday. I found it curious, since I vaguely remember a similar tweet being issued in the past.
I did a search, and sure enough, there it was. And I didn’t cherry pick this. It was the most recent prior tweet which specifically engaged in self-praise with respect to the 401(k)s of pitiful little normal people and how superduper the stock market was doing.. Kindly note the dates of each tweet.
I offer below a chart of the SPY with each tweet’s dated highlighted. I would further note that the SPY from the prior tweet was the highest point in the history of the known universe. Not the same month. Not the same week. Pretty much the exact millisecond of the top.
