Casual dining restaurant chain Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc. (NASDAQ:RRGB) announced that it will unveil a Red Robin Burger Works restaurant in Clackamas, OR on Jul 18. The outlet will be located at 12130 SE 82nd Avenue in Happy Valley and will be the company’s first restaurant in Oregon.
Offerings
The restaurant will offer classic burger variations like Whiskey River BBQ, Royal Red Robin, Banzai and Guacamole Bacon. It will also offer items like chicken tenders, salads and wraps, as well as Red Robin's popular seasoned steak fries and milkshakes.
Burger Works restaurants are a smaller non-traditional prototype with limited menu and services, designed for diners who crave for quality food on the move.
Like at all Burger Works restaurants, guests at the new unit will be able to customize their meals by substituting a turkey, Gardenburger, or chicken patty at no additional cost. However, the latest Clackamas restaurant will be the first location to allow guests to place their orders online.
Bottom Line
Red Robin continues to aggressively expand its footprint and we believe that the company’s accelerated unit growth will boost revenues.
By increasing its focus on smaller prototype restaurants, Red Robin aims to expand in populated urban locations and non-traditional areas to boost return on investment.
Moreover, we expect this Zacks Rank #4 (Sell) company’s initiatives such as menu innovation, marketing strategy and remodeling programs to boost the top line.
