Today's a good day to be long ___________ (pretty much anything). This guy in the office made a remark Friday that I though was hilarious - "the sun came up, so the S&Ps made a new all time high". The Nikkei traded right to the May 22nd (Bernanke Taper) highs.
The Brent v. WTI spread (and Gasoline/Heating oil cracks) reversed after exploding higher in the past few weeks.
For the month of November, Energies, Metals, and Grains continue to trade heavy. The Softs (Cocoa and Coffee) were strong and Equities continue to defy gravity.
The 30 year yield pushed up toward 4% and failed again.
Fed Meeting (Bernanke's last) December 17-18th. And here's the Monetary Meth Injection schedule. The New York Fed doubles the dose on 12/3, 12/9, and 12/19.
