  • This week, the scorecard recommends buying NOK, SEK and AUD while selling CAD, GBP and EUR.
    • For the second consecutive week, the scorecard recommends a long AUD position. All input factors favour a long AUD position while last week's strong declines in both NOK and SEK versus USD seem overdone according the scorecard model, and we recommend being long the two Scandinavian currencies, NOK and SEK, this week.
    • The GBP appears expensive after last week's strong performance while all input factors with the exception of interest rates favour a short CAD position.
    • Last weeks' signals resulted in a 0.997% gain. In particular the long SEK position performed very well, and is the main driver behind last week's solid performance.
    • Next scorecard signals will be sent out 5 November. For a thorough introduction to the scorecard.
