Today's most important event will be the Riksbank announcement at 09:30 CET. We expect the Riksbank to remain on hold but follow Norges Bank's suit by removing its small rate cut probability in the updated rate path. For more on Scandi markets, see page 2.
In Denmark, the FX reserves data for June is due out at 16:00 CET, which we estimate will show that Danmarks Nationalbank did not intervene.
In terms of global economic data releases, today is rather quiet, not least given the US markets are closed due to Independence Day. Euro PPI data is due out at 11:00 CET.
There will be some details on why the Bank of England raised its countercyclical capital buffer recently from 0.0% to 0.5% when the minutes from the Financial Policy Committee are released at 10:30 CET.
