Today is a very quiet day in terms of data releases. The most important event will be the speech from the ECB's Mario Draghi, due at 16:00 CET in Rome. We wrote about the ECB's Headaches recently (28 October).
Otherwise, focus continues to be on US politics and Trump's victory in last week's presidential election. We will continue to follow closely any political statements and appointments in the coming weeks.
In terms of data releases, we will have a busy day tomorrow, as Q3 GDP growth data for Norway and Denmark, Swedish and British CPI inflation data for October, German ZEW expectations and US retail sales in October are all due out.
We are also looking forward to hearing from Fed Chair Janet Yellen on Thursday following the Trump win. We expect the Fed to hike rates in December and twice next year to offset partly the expected fiscal boost from President-Elect Donald Trump.
There are no Scandi market movers due today.
