Cree, Inc. (NASDAQ:CREE) had a nice pop on Monday, gaining 2.17, or 6.37%, to 36.25, on 3 million shares traded. That’s the best volume in about a week. I like this stock, especially after the base was broken and the wedge formed. It then exploded, formed a falling flag, popped, formed another falling wedge, and then it popped again on Monday. It looks like it could be headed up toward 40. There’s 8.5 days to cover .
Dynavax Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ:DVAX), one of our swing trades, popped in August and moved from 16 to 24. On Monday, it popped out of a coil, advancing 1.60, or 7.41%, to 23.20, on 3.2 million shares traded, and may have triggered a move that takes it out above 24-25, and up towards 27-28. It has 4.5 days to cover .
Nutanix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTNX) gapped a little bit and ran right back up to resistance on Monday, popping 1.15, or 4.21%, to 28.48, on 3.2 million shares traded. It appears as though it wants to get through this time. If it does, my near-term target is in the 30-32 zone, with 5 days to cover short.
Swing trade Universal Display Corporation (NASDAQ:OLED) has been moving, and on Monday it jumped 5.30, or 3.35%, to 163.40, on 1.5 million shares traded. The little wedge that formed recently, popped out on Friday, followed through on Monday, and now it looks like it’s headed to the 175-177 zone. It also has 5 days to cover short.
