Although the market had a sloppy day, after the morning dip a lot of our stocks did well, and some did very well. Let’s take a look at some of them.
Coty Inc. (NYSE:COTY) had big news on Tuesday, acquiring three divisions of Procter & Gamble (NYSE:PG). It gapped up huge and ran up 5.03 to 31.08, or 19.3%, on 10.7 million shares. That may be the biggest volume this stock has ever seen. It may be a blow off, or it may be a breakaway gap that triggers a bigger move. If it is, look for mid-and-high 30’s.
The KEYW Holding Corporation (NASDAQ:KEYW) certainly had an explosive, reversal day on Tuesday, going from 9.96 to 11.60, closing at 11.48, up 14 cents, or 1.23%, on 885,100 shares traded. That’s strong volume for this stock. It may very well get to 14 very quickly. But Tuesday’s low is definitely a stop.
MOBILEYE N.V. (NYSE:MBLY) reversed on Tuesday after Monday’s pullback support, running up 1.29 to 51.63, or 2.56%, on 4.2 million shares. There’s a minor double-top in that range, but it looks like it wants to go higher. Let’s see if it tests the November highs up around 52.80-53.00. If it gets through that, look for it to head up toward the 59-60 zone.
POZEN Inc. (NASDAQ:POZN) is a new stock for us. Tuesday’s transactions show it to be phenomenally bullish, and the reason this stock exploded, and ran from 9.28 to 10.40 before backing off. It was up 60 cents to 10.02, or 6.4%, on 1.3 million shares. The volume the last week, week and a half, is indicative of a breakout. For the last year, it has been basing, and that has been broken. Now, it has a lot of room to run. It may extend to the teens, 17-18 eventually.
