Clovis Oncology Inc (NASDAQ:CLVS) was up 1.70, or 3.2%, to 54.76, on 1.2 million shares traded on Tuesday. I believe it completed four waves down and is at support going back a year. More importantly, on a 50-minute chart, it looks like an inverse head-and-shoulders just formed, or a right-handed extended V. Tuesday’s action took it right above support, and it’s flagging. If it pops on Wednesday, it may quickly run to 58 and 63, my swing trade.
HTG Molecular Diagnostics, Inc. (NASDAQ:HTGM) gained 43 cents, or 10.6%, to 4.48, on 3.4 million shares traded on Tuesday. It exploded on Monday, going all the way up to 4.69, and then on Tuesday, it got down to 3.82, reversed and closed at the high for the day. If it gets over 4.70, you might see 5.30-.40 as early as Wednesday.
Match Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:MTCH) is stellar, jumping 1.61, or 4.24%, to 39.60, on 3.6 million shares traded on Tuesday. I’ve been watching this stock since it was given to me by one of my clients in Aug at 20, and since it has almost doubled. The all-time high has already extended, but momentum is very strong, so it may get into low 40’s short-term.
Twitter, Inc. (NYSE:TWTR) ran 2.49, or 8%, to 33.44, on 58 million shares traded on Tuesday. Last week, it had a 232-million shares day, pulled back, and not only held the gap, but held the top of the prior channel, which is very bullish. Sometimes when you see that, if you can angle the channel, it may very well be headed to a 38 target.
