Colucid Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:CLCD) had a good day, considering a lot of biotechs did not. It held the trendline and snapped back. It also held the 50 right on the money. It was up 1.30, or 3.6%, to 37.30, on 60.6 million shares traded, on Monday. The low was 35.25, so perhaps stop under 35, if it doesn’t work. If it does work, and it gets through, 40.80 could be a big winner.
Emergent Biosolutions Inc (NYSE:EBS) had a big pop on Friday, on some major contract news for a 911 million-dollar deal with the Centers For Disease Control to supply its anthrax vaccine BioThrax. After moving down a little bit on Monday morning, this stock went very nicely up 1.10, or 3.4%, to 33.47, on 953,000 shares traded. It needs to get through 34, 37, and then low-to-mid 40’s, potentially.
Stocks on the Short Side….
Ambarella Inc (NASDAQ:AMBA) is looking pretty ugly. That rising wedge to the moving average failed, and it rolled over, bounced off support, and then took out support on Monday, dropping another 1.41, or 3%, to 53.05, on 1.5 million shares traded. It could very well see 48, 45, and lower going forward.
Nevro Corp (NYSE:NVRO) sure looks like a stock in a downtrend. On Monday, it was down another 63 cents, to 75.75, on 282,600 shares traded. It formed a top, broke down, snapped back, failed, formed another bear wedge, and then failed again, and snapped back to support, which is now resistance, rolled over, and now the targets are 65 and 61.
