AXT Inc. (NASDAQ:AXTI), one of our swings that has done very well, as it popped out, it pulled back, and popped again. You can see that on Tuesday, it was up another 40 cents, or 5%, to 9.15, on 2 million shares traded, reaching 9.50, which we haven’t seen before. It looks like, at this point if this continues, we may see something around 12, and then 14 and 15 eventually. It has 3.4 days to cover .
Triton International Ltd (NYSE:TRTN) swing trade is moving steadily and upward. On Tuesday, it was up another 1.05, or 2.9%, to 37.11, on 260,210 shares traded. It looks like it’s still headed to my target at 39, and then the mid 40’s.
Stocks on the Short Side….
Astec Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ:ASTE) had a breakdown from the topping pattern. You can see the head-and-shoulders. It snapped back to it, and then rolled down in a 5-wave decline. It’s not able to rally, but it is forming a bear pattern. It basically reversed itself and on Tuesday, it was down 1.16, or 2.3%, to 49.11, on 152,693 shares traded. Targets are in the 45.25 area, and then maybe the 38 area.
Capella Education Company (NASDAQ:CPLA) dropped another 1.10, or 1.6%, to 67.60, on 141,766 shares traded. It won’t even rally, but if it does, I’d wait for it. It has really gone too far too fast, going from 89 down to 67, 22 points in a huff. Now, if it rallies back to 73-4, maybe it will go sideways and form a flag. Target right now is the high 50’s.
