Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD), which I’ve been high on ever since it broke on Friday, gapped up and ran on Monday, and popped 98 cents, or 3%, to 33.60, with a high of 33.91, on 51 1/4 million shares. The only thing left is for this to get to the 33 3/4-35 1/2 range. If it gets through that, I will be looking for 40, 44, and maybe even the high 40’s going forward.
Crispr Therapeutics AG (NASDAQ:CRSP) had a nice pop on Monday of 5.00, or 12.55%, to 44.85, with a high of 44.95, on 1.4 million shares. That’s the biggest volume on an up day since the end of June. I like that. There’s a declining topsline to contend with here and lateral price resistance at the 50. My short-term targets are 50, 53 1/2, and about 58.
Endo International PLC (NASDAQ:ENDP) really intrigues me after the long down trend, a pop, then a falling wedge, another pop, it formed a larger wedge, then broke out on big volume, coiled or flagged on lower volume, closing near flat. It looks like a set-up to me to get to 6 1/2-3/4, 8 1/2, and eventually 11.
Nektar Therapeutics (NASDAQ:NKTR) popped 1.02, or 6.12%, to 17.70, with a high of 17.99, on 1.4 million shares on Monday. It moved above the 20-day moving average and got up just beneath the 50-day and backed off. Be careful going forward, especially on Tuesday, because if this gets to 18, with that kind of energy, it could really take off. The first target is a quick test of 19.35, and then it will make a run up to about 21 1/4. If it gets through that zone, targets are 24 1/2 and 27 1/2.
Pinduoduo (NASDAQ:PDD), which I’ve been talking about for weeks and love the way it popped out of a wedge a couple weeks ago, and then it accelerated. In the last four sessions, it has gone from 34 to almost 43. On Monday, it gained 1.74, or 4.26%, to 42.58, with a high of 42.85, on 7 million shares. The top of the channel reads about 48.
SeaChange International Inc (NASDAQ:SEAC), which I put a new swing on Monday, popped 11 cents, or 3.86%, to 2.96, with a high of 3.03, on 144.327 shares traded. Look at that pattern. A base, breakout, retest, it exploded, flagged, and popped on Monday. It looks like it’s headed to the 5 1/4-1/2 area. Targets are 4 1/4 and 5 1/4 going forward.
Seattle Genetics Inc (NASDAQ:SGEN) jumped 3.15 on Monday, or 3.07%, to 105.77, with a high of 105.98, on 1.2 million shares. This swing just keeps on giving. It pulled back with an entry-op around 80 and exploded to 105 to all-time territory. It’s above the channel. I would not be shocked to see this stock take a major run into the 130’s-140’s.
